MAME – Mediterranean Ambassadors Music Experience – è un network di eccellenti musicisti provenienti da tutto il mondo, che si incontrano lungo le vie del Mediterraneo per condividere il racconto sonoro di una terra di confine tra Oriente e Occidente. MAME Donne 2019 coinvolge la violoncellista Irina Solinas (Italia), Huda Hasfour, voce e oud (USA) e Nancy Mounir, polistrumentista (Egitto), accomunate dal desiderio di esplorare luoghi musicali, che caratterizzano paesaggio e tradizioni del Mediterraneo, attraverso la ricerca e l’arte dell’improvvisazione.
In caso di maltempo, l’evento si terrà all’interno dell’Albergo.

MAME – Mediterranean Ambassadors Music Experience – is a network of outstanding musicians from around the world, meeting in the Mediterranean to create a shared musical narrative of the border land between the East and the West. The members of MAME Donne 2019 are celloist Irina Solinas (Italy), singer and oud player Huda Hasfour (USA), and multi-instrumentalist Nancy Mounir (Egypt). They are brought together by their shared desire to explore the musical places of the Mediterranean area in their landscape and traditions, with research and improvisation.
In the event of bad weather, the performance will be held inside the hotel.
